    Designed by golf course architect Gene Hamm, the Club was established in 1957 and opened for play in 1959.  

    The course is a par 72 with four sets of tees ranging from 5,167 yards for the women and 6715 yards for the men.

About Us
Tuscarora Country Club was established in 1957 and has been a key part of the community ever since.  Men, women, juniors, and seniors have been able to enjoy the family atmosphere and all the amenities through the years.  
An 18 hole Gene Hamm designed golf course, practice facility, Junior Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, weight room, fishing ponds, grill, and banquet hall are available for our members.
We are a strong supporter of junior golf, with lessons being offered for both young and old.  We host many local high school golf matches and are the home course for Tunstall High and Middle Schools, Chatham High and Middle Schools, and Chatham Hall.   Contact us if your organization would like schedule any charitable fundraising events or tournaments.
In August 2011, the greens were converted to "Mini Verde Ultra Dwarf Bermuda Grass".  Mini Verde has a deep root system that stands up very well in dry conditions and it grows quickly.  Featuring fine leaf blades, short internodes, and high shoot density, it makes for an excellent putting service.  Mini Verde is dark green in color and maintains its color even in cooler temperatures and it is a great grass for faster and more consistent putting surface.
